UX interface and visual identity collaboration for a compliance platform designed for clarity, speed, and trust.
ABOUT
I collaborated with the Tracer team as an agency partner (Value Creation Labs) to support the branding and UX design of a product built to modernize the Department of Defense’s compliance process. Tracer was created to help teams navigate complex security and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements - replacing fragmented spreadsheets and documentation with a single, role-based platform that makes interconnected compliance layers easier to understand and manage.
Over the course of the engagement, I assisted in shaping Tracer’s visual identity and contributed to the overall UX interface design, helping translate dense, technical workflows into a more intuitive and usable product experience.
The combined product and brand efforts helped Tracer secure a $1.1M SBIR grant, reinforcing both the market need and the strength of the design approach. The platform established a single, role-based source of truth - giving developers, assessors, system managers, and authorizing officials real-time visibility into system status, relationships, and change over time.
